National Scrapbooking Month Blog Hop
Welcome to our National Scrapbooking Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring this month’s special, the Happy Times Paper Packet and Happy Times Stamp Set.
If you have come here from Kathy Burrows’s Blog , you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.  To visit each blog for some great ideas just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!ÂÂ
Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Happy Times Paper Packet, Happy Times Stamp Set, Watercolor Paints, Waterbrush – Small Round, Archival Black Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad, White Cards & Envelopes Value Pack.
With the current coloring rage, I just had to try it with this paper.  I colored with the Waterbrush and Watercolor Paints because I wanted a more subdued look.  I didn’t use much water so the paper curled only slightly and flattened out once I applied it to the card front.  I added a simple sentiment using the Archival Black Ink so that it would stand out but still showcase the coloring on the card.  You can do recreate this card with any colors of your choice.  I will add that lighter colors work best because the design outline is a lighter color.
Visit my blog tomorrow to see a layout I created with the Happy Times Paper Packet and a fun way to use the foil flowered paper.
Now “Hop” on over to Melissa Robinson’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas!
The Happy Times National Scrapbooking Month paper packet and stamp set are available during the month of May (while supplies last) so don’t miss out.  Shop now!

Your water coloring technique is awesome. I too thought about watercolors, and my first attempt was dismal! You’ve inspired me to try again. Love the results.
LOVE LOVE this!!! Beautiful watercoloring. Thank you for the inspiration!
I love how you watercolored the background paper! Why didn’t I think of doing that? Now I know what is possible with this pattern paper and will use that idea sometime in the future. Thanks for inspiring me today!
