Flip Flap Layout by Wendy KesslerSupplies used are all Close to My Heart: Happy Times Paper Packet, Happy Times Stamp Set, Inks (Crystal Blue, Canary), Crystal Blue Cardstock, Noted Stamp Set, Memory Protector Flip Flaps, Scallop Border Punch, White & Gold Ribbon, and Gold Sequins Assortment.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think “interactive pages” is Flip Flaps.  They are such a great way to expand your pages when you have lots of pictures that you want to display.  The 4×6 Flip Flaps are the easiest to use because you can simply layer them on top of a 4×6 photo.  On this layout I have used some of the larger Flip Flaps to give you some ideas on how to use them.  When designing a page using these larger flaps, I create my top layer first.  I also noted photos that I would use inside the flaps and set aside for later.  I kept these sections in mind so that I wouldn’t overlap on these areas.  Once my “top” layout was complete (what you see in the picture above), I added the other sections that would be inside the flaps.  I attached all the bases/papers and photos first, then finished off with embellishing.

Tip: To add Flip Flaps to your page, fold the adhesive strip towards the opening of the flip flap and use a Bone Folder to set the crease.  Remove the adhesive strip and attach to the top of your page protector.  Make sure that if you are doing a two-page layout that you have your pages positioned correctly in the page protectors.
