Here we go!

I was so excited when I saw this stamp set because I just love the layering of colors without a lot of work. Then when I actually got the stamp set it was at a loss and just didn’t know what to do. I was determined to use it and so glad I did. Once I started stamping, it was a lot of fun playing with the different colors.

Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Thoughtful Bird Stamp + Thin Cuts Bundle, Inks (Sapphire, Crystal Blue, Pacifica, Saffron), Gold Glitter Gems, and twine from the Enchantment Ribbon Pack.

A couple tips:
*If you want the branch to reach across the card you will have to do some masking but it is very easy. I stamped the branch where I wanted, then put a sticky note (or scrap paper) overtop of most of it and stamped again with just then end of the branch to make it longer.
*When stamping the bird, make sure to stamp the beak before the 3rd piece of the body. I did mine in this order: body 1, body 2, beak, body 3.

Now “Hop” on over to Michelle Stewart’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas!
