July SOTM (Highlight Reel) Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring July’s SOTM, which is Highlight Reel, a set of 23 stamps. This month Close To My Heart Consultants are sharing their creations using this month’s SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. To follow along just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

Products used are all Close to My Heart: Highlight Reel stamp set (July 2018 SOTM), Quotable Words stamp set, Instalife Album – Blush, Bashful Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, journaling cards from Story by Stacy, Charcoal Ink, Raspberry Ink, Instalife Black Overlays, and Marvy Uchida LePen Journaling Pen.

So what if you have one of these little mini albums or want to get one for a project but just don’t know what to do without page protectors? I’ve got a solution for you! I cut my own pages and when they are complete I plan to laminate them for protection. I made this album for my daughter to write in while we are on vacation. I am so excited to see her favorite things and memories! Throughout the trip when she needs something to do or we have a break or a time of waiting, I am going to pull this out and have her write in it. It is going to be a great keepsake. You could also do this with the new Story by Stacy albums.

I cut my pages 4 5/8″ x 4 1/4″. I marked in pencil where to punch the first holes and then used that as a guide for the rest of the pages. I chose Bashful because (1) it matched the album (2) it’s light enough to write on and (3) I have a lot to use up. 🙂

One thing to note if you are using double-sided cardstock is to alternate between the light and dark pages.
