Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Mix-In Paper Packet, Intense Black Ink, Birthday Banners stamp set, Unicorn Dreams stamp + thin cuts, White Daisy Cardstock, Julep Shimmer Brush, Raspberry Shimmer Brush, Lagoon Shimmer Brush, Wisteria Shimmer Brush, Gold Shimmer Brush, Charcoal Shimmer Brush, Gold Shimmer Trim,

When you are struggling for ideas and can’t decide, just as a kid! I wasn’t sure how to color the unicorns, which colors to use. I asked my daughter and right away she said “gold for the horn” (I would not have even thought of that!), gray for the hooves, and use the other colors for the mane and tail (oh, like a rainbow! I was just thinking one color for each unicorn.) I really got my use out of my shimmer brushes. I will say they were not easy to color with. I do it all the time but some are easier than others. My lagoon and wisteria were very juicy so I wiped a lot on a scrap paper before applying but it was still tricky to avoid puddling. The other colors worked great.
Because of the gold horns, I chose the Gold Shimmer Trim over silver, which I would normally use with these colors.

Now “Hop” on over to Melissa Robinson’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas!
