Wooden Gift & Holiday Tags

These wooden tags are so fun to create and are a great gift on their own or to add to that special package. For this first tag, I used the Gold Plate Metallic Marker to outline the holly and give it a little more dimension.

Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Christmas Wooden Tags, Jingle Joy Diecuts, Gold Plate Metallic Marker, Cardstock, Gold Twine, and White & Gold Skinny Ribbon.

This next tag is a birthday one simply embellished with stickers. The background is created with Distress Oxide Inks and a stencil.

Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Wooden Tags, Party Time Paper Packet & Sticker Sheet, Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink, Stencil Pack 3, and White & Gold Ribbon.

This final tag is my favorite. The ombre background is created with the Distress Oxide Inks. They blend so well, even on the wood. I filled in the snowflake with the Silver Stickles Glitter Gel and once it was dried it flatten. The back was also a bit “bubbled” so I would recommend just backing with Silver Glitter Paper instead for a similar look.

Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Christmas Wooden Tags, Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink, Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink, Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink, Intense Black Ink, Silver Stickles Glitter Gel, Black Velvet Ribbon.
