These little birdies are so cute, I couldn’t wait to use them! I found that the lightest color of yellow works best for the bird and it does dry a bit different so give it time if you don’t like the color at first. I went back to the Funny Farm Cards Kid’s Craft and used those instructions, therefore the came together quickly. Reusing instructions with new papers and stamps is a great way to create new things without a lot of thought.😉 I kept the cards pretty simple but did add a few extra touches. This card set is another great option for flat cards for mailing and the shimmer trim and stamping are enough for embellishing. One thing I will say – don’t make me choose between Shimmer Trim and Shimmer Brushes! 🤣

Supplies used are all Close to My Heart: Hillside Cottage Paper Packet, So Tweet stamp set, Intense Black Ink, TriBlend Markers (Light Yellow Blend, Pale Pink Blend, Pale Pink Shades, Red Brown Blend, Gold Yellow Blend, Dull Green Blend), Silver Shimmer Trim, Gold Shimmer Trim, and Flamingo Shimmer Trim.
