Colorful Fun Fold Card: Stamped Flowers & Embossed Panel

This colorful fun fold card was so much fun to make! I’ve been creating a lot of cards with fun folds lately. It’s surprising how easy some of them are to create and it adds a new dimension to the card.

Start with a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card base and fold the front panel in half. The middle piece is 3 1⁄2 X 7 and scored at 3 1⁄2 X 5 5/8. Create your panels a bit smaller than each section to allow for a border. You can choose patterned papers or cardstock, and I even embossed a couple of the pieces with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder.

This card is another example of how you can combine your Close to My Heart and Stampin’ Up! supplies. The patterned paper (Enjoy the Ride), cardstock, and inks are all CTMH. The stamp set and dies, Textured Floral, is Stampin’ Up! These blend so perfectly together and the bright colors make this colorful fun fold card a cheerful delight to receive.
