Enjoying the Good Life Layout
This particular Enjoying the Good Life layout was created at a Close to My Heart online album retreat.
It’s always a joy to create layouts that capture special moments in time. This outing took place right before the school year started, before our schedules became filled with classes, homework, and extracurricular activities. What better way to spend our time together than a day at Hobby Lobby? I’m so glad that Miranda enjoys crafting as much as I do!
After Hobby Lobby, I decided to surprise Miranda with a lunch at IHOP, a restaurant she had never been to before. As someone who loves breakfast foods, I knew it would be a treat she would enjoy. Miranda was excited, but nothing could prepare her for the huge stack of pancakes that awaited her! I’ll never forget the look on her face when the waitress brought out the towering stack of chocolate pancakes. It was clear that Miranda was in pancake heaven. What really amazed me, though, was —she managed to eat almost the entire stack! The day was a reminder of our good life and what a joy it is to spend time together.
